ANNA’S CASE

This case is the genesis of the Pacific Northwest Foundation’s vision and, hence, mission. It is the fundamental reason for the foundation moving from being a grant-making entity to being an operational organization.

This case covers the medical history of a woman born in 1952 whose funeral was being planned in 1997 because of her deteriorating and seemingly hopeless health condition. It details her recovery in great detail in six month intervals, beginning in 1996. It includes not only her perspective but such information as lab reports as well.

Additionally, there are also extensive references throughout the reports.
